It’s messed up that the sisters were more understanding than the mom. One thing that will forever piss me off is when someone tells me that they did or handled X&X by themselves or a certain way, they don't see how I or the next person can't do it as well. No, we're not the same- just because you “think” you did something all on your own doesn’t mean anyone else should if they have a choice not to. 🙄 Anyway NO they are not wrong for not bringing anything to thanksgiving.

You are absolutely not wrong for not bringing anything. You have been through so so much. It is ok to take care of yourself! I wouldn’t expect you to bring anything.
